Acid indigestion, sour stomach, flatulence, epigastric distress, dyspepsia, eructation and to increase appetite.

Diastase + Pepsin is indicated as a digestive aid and for the treatment of acid indigestion, sour stomach, flatulence, epigastric distress, dyspepsia, eructation and to increase appetite.

Precautions

Diastase + Pepsin are contraindicated in patients with chronic or acute pancreatitis and individuals who are allergic to synthetic enzymes.

Other Drug Interactions

Diastase + Pepsin may interact with metronidazole and other drugs that belong to the same class. Diastase + Pepsin may interact with other drugs/vitamins/nutritional supplement that is/are not listed here.

Other Interactions

Diastase + Pepsin may interact with gastric juice. Some of the enzymes/digestive substances in gastric acid may degrade Diastase + Pepsin.

Dosage

Take one capsule of Diastase + Pepsin, after meals, twice or thrice a day.
As syrup formulation, take 5 ml of Diastase + Pepsin, immediately after meals (for adults).
For children, the dose should be half of the adult’s dose.

Food(before/after)

Diastase + Pepsin should be taken after food intake
